Aurushi is an adaptive apparel brand launching with a single flagship product designed for lower-body prosthetic wearers. This was a client collaboration in which I partnered with the founding team to translate early concepts into a production-ready launch product: the Kintsugi™ Jogger.
My role spanned concept refinement, prototyping, materials and trim selection, technical design, and manufacturing development.

The following product imagery and messaging reflect Aurushi’s launch positioning and the final expression of the design.
Design decisions prioritized:
• Full-length inseam access to support independent dressing
• Reinforced durability at points of repeated prosthetic friction
• Compatibility with lower-body prosthetics and orthotic components
• A clean, everyday silhouette suitable for regular wear
PROTOTYPE
During the prototype phase, Aurushi conducted wear-testing with members of the adaptive community to evaluate functionality, comfort, and real-world use. I collaborated with the team to translate this feedback into iterative refinements, informing fit adjustments, access placement, and material performance prior to production.
The result is a thoughtfully engineered adaptive jogger that supports confidence, movement, and independence — without compromising durability or design integrity. This project reflects my approach to adaptive apparel development: collaborative, technically rigorous, and grounded in real user experience.
